M47 Q1 21 Renaissance History

Learning more about the music of any time period also includes learning about the social, cultural, and historical aspects of that time as well. In this course, you will learn about the characteristic music styles, important composers, and musical trends of the Renaissance. This includes an exploration of the development of band music during this time. The course includes listening to recordings, and learning in a non-performance setting with your instructor.
