+ITS5 ~ Bassoon for Everyone

This workshop will tell you everything that you have wanted to know about the bassoon and more – history, what all the keys do, why it looks like a rocket launcher… You will also get practical tips on how to set up the instrument, hold it properly, and get a good fundamental sound. This workshop is open to bassoon players and those who have thought about trying it out as a doubling instrument. Those who are interested in composing or arranging for bassoon are also welcome. This will be an interactive workshop delivered on Zoom – a bassoon is always a good idea, but not required. The maximum class size is 25 people.
