Minimum Registration – 15 participants
This class is suitable for those who have already been studying/playing jazz, and improvising in the Jazz Orchestra or the Big Band. We’ll drill chord/scale/rhythm concepts, so an understanding of these elements is required, without necessarily being able to execute them. An ability to interpret a lead sheet, and an understanding on the part of the rhythm section regarding stylistic matters is needed.
Note: Rhythm section is limited to 1 bass player, 1 guitar and piano, and 1 drummer.
